I lived in Turkey for 7 years and made a good friend in the carpet business. He visited me this past fall, and asked me if I could sell some carpets for him. I said sure. Before I knew it he unloaded 80+ carpets on me. I have no idea what to do, so I’m doing whatever I can to get these sold. These are VERY nice carpets, and at a price that is far cheaper than you’ll find them here in here in the US. They are priced to sell.
These are not cheap rip-offs from India/Pakistan. These are valuable rare carpets that will likely accrue with price.
All of these carpets are in Austin, Tx, and you can come and view them if you want. In fact, I prefer that. I don’t want to do shipping unless absolutely necessary.
About the Carpets:
All carpets are AUTHENTIC, Handmade, Natural Dyes, most have never been used (Antique may have), some new, some up to 60 years old. All made from traditional Turkish designs.
My Turkish friend travels throughout Turkey in villages getting these carpets. Often they were just left in trunks as dowry presents 60 years ago.
If you buy a carpet, my friend will send you information about the carpet.
